Karl Fischer Titrator (KF)
Karl Fischer Titrator (KF)
Model No : MA 101C
When water content is to be found out Karl Fischer Titrator is used for water determination & serves as moisture analyzer. Coulometric Karl Fischer Titration method is used to carry out moisture estimation in many specific applications. The Coulometric titration process involves constant current electrolysis using electrolytic control method. An intermittent electrolysis is employed to get the exact end point. Certain samples such as polymers require the use of kf oven in which the sample is heated and moisture in vapour form is taken to the titration vessel with a carrier gas.
Description
Spectralab Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator has been designed for a wide range of water content application ranging from 10 ppm to 100% of moisture by Volumetric method. In Volumetry Solid or Sticky samples can be placed directly into the titration vessel and the rest will be carried out with a wide range of organic solvents adapted to the samples.
It is more ideal for the determination of water in wide range of samples ranging from Raw Materials through Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food Stuffs, Plastics, etc. upto Gaseous Samples.
Spectralab offers selection of Instrument for Volumetric KF Titration
- KF – 9 : For routine water determination.
- Ma – 101C : High end Instrument with other advantages.
